The Home Learner exists as a place for you to find encouragement for your learning journey.

And finding timely, practical and personal resources can be just what we all need to take that next step.

My desire is to be your learning assistant. It is my joy and passion to research and study all things home related. I hope to save you time, money, sanity, and pain from wasting your precious resources.

Here are the 4 categories nested under Curriculum:

  • Reviews: books, movies, conventions, etc. You name it. If it is a product to be purchased, I will review it here. Let me know if you have any suggestions of products you’d like to see reviewed.
  • Resources: other blogs, speakers, YouTube channels, services, inspiration. Support for your learning journey.
  • Life Lessons: real life examples of how I or my kids have learned through everyday experiences. Sometimes taking a moment to study and examine our behavior sheds more light on the stage of development than any outside search.
  • Kid-ucation: Yes, that’s a made up word. I honestly couldn’t think of any other way to describe the process by which I am educated through observing my kids and myself. I started homeschooling for them, yet I have learned so much more through this process than I ever could have hoped.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or suggestions. I’d love to go to work for you!
