little accomplishments count : how to save money on diapers

So I just did the math. And we have officially broken even on our cloth diaper stash.

Huh?

If you’re not into the whole natural approach or even the frugal mama thing, you have my permission to roll your eyes. But I’m just tellin’ ya – every week from now until Emmett is potty trained: He’s pottying for f-r-e-e! We’re saving about $10/week from here on out!

Sound too good to be true? Nope. We did Kawaii Diapers this time around with a few bumgenius from Tip Toes {local shout out!}, and I’m loving it. We cloth in and out of the house, and let me tell you – for us, it is worth it. And not just for the savings or the coolness factor on the natural scale :: Emmett is ready and able to blow out any disposable diaper within reach. You put it on him; he will fill it. And then some.

And if you have any questions, please ask away in the comments. I love sharing about the coolness of cloth. 🙂

  1. Hi Cara- this is Casie’s friend Shannon. I’m thinking about cloth diapering and she said you have a wealth of knowledge on the matter. If you can message me from this comment, I’d love to email with some specific questions- if you have time to answer! Thanks!
